The status of an application to Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) can be tracked by contacting the college by phone or email:

New students can apply online by following these steps:
- Go to the online application page
- Complete the application
- Complete the Pre-Registration Placement Screening Assessment
- Scan and upload the required documents
The required documents include:
- A certified copy of the student’s ID
- Proof of residence
- Certified copies of passport for foreign students
- SAQA approved foreign qualification
- Proof of medical insurance or cover
- Valid study permit
